Introduction
Best piece of creative work
This
is an emergency shelter to provide temporary accommodation for families and
individuals that have been displaced by natural disasters in Australia. The
shelter would be delivered on the back of a truck with a crane so that it can
be lowered into place. Solar panels and a water tank have been added to the
shelter in order to make it as off the grid as possible. This shelter was
inspired by tiny houses and micro-living. This shelter consists of a fully
functional kitchen, a bathroom, a loft sleeping area for two children as well
as bed that is sunk into the floor and hidden under a panel. Once the occupants
have rebuilt their home and no longer need the shelter, it can easily be
disassembled and re-loaded onto a truck and either stored in a warehouse or
transported to a new location to provide temporary accommodation for another
family in need.

An original photograph of
something beautiful
This
building is located on an island off Mexico called Cozumel. This photograph encapsulates
one of my favourite elements of Cozumel which is the bright coloured buildings.
When walking through the main part of this island every building is another
bright colour such as pink, yellow or green and is contrasted with a white
outline around the windows and balconies. This makes the island feel relaxed
and the bright coloured building brings a sense of happiness to the people
walking past the buildings.
